A number of members belonging to the Garden Grove, California Crystal Cathedral congregation are shocked after they were asked in an email to help deliver meals for the sick wife of the organization's founder, who is very wealthy. The Crystal Cathedral filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after consulting with Riverside California bankruptcy lawyers and has apparently been undergoing financial difficulties since the early part of the last decade. The bankruptcy has been a high profile case since if the bankruptcy went through it would be the first mega church to go out of business due to lack of funding.

There are a number of countries to which American lumber companies ship hardwood lumber and it would seem that the United Arab Emirates is the largest buyer of those hardwoods and over five million dollars’ worth of imported wood in the first half of the year alone. Red oak was a popular type of hardwood that was imported and almost two million dollars of that type of hardwood was brought into the country. The amount of hardwoods imported in the first part of 2011 represents an almost two hundred percent increase of hardwoods brought into the country.
